First Class Food

As you can see, the Titanic's food was quite extreme. Much of it was French because of the fact that they set sail from England and French food was considered very fancy and elaborate, much like the Titanic.

As for the exact food, the first class had a wide variety of foods such as:
+ Rare meats such as duckling, sheep, chicken, ox, veal, and beef.
+ Succulent seafood such as lobsters, shrimp, herrings, anchovies, and sardines.
+ Elegant desserts such as a variety of puddings and pies and French ice cream.

Here are some of the rare, older dishes listed on the Titanic's first class menu:

First Class Dining Room

Although their were less first class passengers than third or second class, the first class dining room was still very large. It fit 550 people and had small, individual tables that fit about six people each. While the first class passengers ate, they were entertained by the Titanic band. The Titanic band had seven members who memorized over 200 songs that the passengers could request at any time. The band also played in the lounge before and after dinner.
